Key Responsibilities :
Compile and synthesize geological data from various sources to support analysis and modeling efforts.
Work collaboratively with Senior Geologists and Data Geoscientists to integrate geological understanding into predictive models and analytical tools.
Participate in the development and refinement of data compilation methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute geological expertise to cross-disciplinary projects, ensuring that geoscience perspectives are represented and valued.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geosciences, or related fields.
Geological Expertise: Demonstrated experience in geological data compilation and interpretation, with a strong understanding of various geological environments.
Technical Skills: Competence in GIS, remote sensing tools, and familiarity with databases. Exposure to data analysis software and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus but not required.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary remote team, bridging the gap between geology and data science. Strong work ethic and performance-based thinking are a must.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
What We Offer :
$110,000 - $115,000 per year excluding superannuation.
A 38 hour working week with additional hours as required.
Flexible work hours and the option to work remotely or in our West Perth offices.
20 days of annual leave and 10 days personal leave per year
